About

Sheryl Ravalese Maggipinto

MS, RDN, CD-N, CLT.

I’m a registered dietitian with over 15 years of experience helping clients feel more at home in their bodies by addressing the connection between nutrition, mental health, and digestion.

My work focuses on supporting adults who are navigating appetite dysregulation, anxiety, disordered eating patterns, and digestive issues like IBS, bloating, or constipation. I also specialize in helping women through menopausal symptoms manage hormonal shifts, emotional eating, and energy imbalances using a blend of clinical nutrition, mindfulness, and lifestyle support.

What I offer is rooted in both training and lived experience. Like many of my clients, I’ve had my own challenges with emotional eating, inconsistent nourishment, and navigating challenges through food. That personal journey has shaped the way I practice today with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for how complex our relationship with food can be.

Before becoming a dietitian, I worked as a culinarian and culinary instructor. Food has always been my language how I connect, comfort, and express care. I bring that same spirit into my work, helping clients reconnect with food in a way that feels wholesome, satisfying, and aligned with real life. Meals don’t have to be perfect, they just need to support your body, your mind, and your way of life.

My approach combines integrative nutrition with nervous system support and practical, evidence-based tools to help people feel nourished physically and emotionally. I hold a master’s degree in nutrition and Dietetics and am a Certified LEAP Therapist (Lifestyle Eating and Performance Therapy). I’ve also completed additional training in the Low FODMAP diet through Monash University and advanced practice education through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

This work is personal to me. I’ve spent over a decade walking alongside patients who’ve struggled with the very same symptoms I focus on whether it’s digestive discomfort, chronic conditions or stress-related eating patterns. My goal is always to help you feel supported, not judged and to give you tools that fit your life. When I’m not working, I love cooking and eating with family and friends, spending time with my son and my dog, practicing yoga, or walking outside and reconnecting with nature.
